Editor's note: The NFC playoff picture reflects the results of Week 15's afternoon games on Sunday.

ATLANTA -- With each passing week the NFC playoff picture comes into better focus. In Week 14, the Eagles became the first NFC team to clinch a playoff spot. In Week 15, they got some company as the Vikings secured an NFC North division title and earned a place in the postseason.

While the Falcons (8-5) don't play until Monday night, the Sunday games continue to shift the conference landscape with only two weeks remaining after this weekend. Atlanta controls its own playoff destiny, but it didn't receive any help in Week 15 with both Carolina and New Orleans emerging with victories.

The division picture may not have changed on Sunday, but the landscape of the NFC's wild card chase certainly did. A stunning and dominant performance by the Rams on the road to beat the Seahawks provided a bit more breathing room for the Falcons.

The current playoff picture in the NFC following Week 15's afternoon games on Sunday:
